Although he, Buzzie, Flaps and Dizzy are white-rumped vultures, they look more like North American turkey vultures. This was likely done so they look familiar to the American audiences.

Ziggy is a male vulture based on George Harrison from the Beatles, as such, he has his hairstyle.
